The Moscow International Symposium on Magnetism (MISM) is being held at Moscow State University every three years starting with the year 1999. The latest meeting MISM-2017 had gathered more than 800 scientists from 41 countries. From the first MISM-1999, the Symposium keeps the status of the largest international meeting on magnetism in Russia. The Organizing Committee focuses MISM-2020 on the most actual topics of modern magnetism. In addition to plenary talks of tutorial character and invited talks of leading scientists only top-level original contributions will be considered by the Program Committee.

News
MISM 2020-2021 canceled
Dear Colleagues,
Unfortunately, we were forced to postpone MISM-2020 due to COVID-19. Many other magnetism conferences were postponed, so we are expecting a busy 2021. Beginning May-June 2021, there will be several important meetings in the world (Physics of magnetism - Poland, ISEM - Greece, ICM - China, Intermag - France), including some international conferences in Russia. As a result, we made the hard decision to cancel MISM-2020 and plan to organize it again in 2023. Next year the conference "New in Magnetism and Magnetic Materials" (NMMM-2021) is planned to be held in MIREA-Russian Technological University, Moscow. The MISM and NMMM organizing committees decided to join our efforts and facilities in 2021 to have both Russian and English sections for NMMM. We sincerely hope that COVID-19 will not impact our plan, and that we will not have to resort to on-line presentations. Details of NMMM-2021 will be announced in the end December.

MISM 2020 canceled
Dear Colleagues,
To our regret the spread of COVID-19 continues and the situation is still uncertain. We realize how difficult it is to predict the status of the international travel situation in coming months. Most in person activities are forbidden in Lomonosov Moscow State University and there are also restrictions on university-related travel in and out of Moscow. Therefore we have taken the decision to сancel MISM 2020 and postpone it to the next summer. The information on the date will be announced after ending the pandemic. Please feel free to delete your abstract or keep it in MISM database. All payments made by credit card will be refunded automatically. To refund other type of payment let us know the nesessary requisites.
We look forward to see you next summer.
